An Aspiring Sports News Writer

I love watching sports events on television, but what I love more is writing about them. Sadly, I cannot digest and memorize everything that's on TV, which is why I really need sports news sources to make sure that what I write about is right.

Of course, there's ESPN.com, Yahoo! Sports, AXN, and such, but I also tried looking for archived write ups in superior papers.com, scores in live.com, and other sites. I found articles on soccer, American football and basketball – all of which are my choice sport.

I find it more important to analyze a recently concluded sports event rather than plain reporting it. Analyzing sports events makes my mind think, not as a reporter but as an enthusiast. Although I am not a professional sports writer, writing about it could be a few steps away from the profession. Who knows, someday I will get to travel to watch Manchester United, Boston Celtics and the Superbowl... but will have to take down notes, still.
